Book and pay
There are several ways to reserve spaces on AirforB. Some owners want to know a more about the user before confirming a reservation, they will see the profile of the user wanting to reserve their space and ask some questions, while others prefer to reduce the time needed to manage requests for reservations. using the AirforB Instant Booking feature.
Reservation drop-down menu indicates Reservation request
The Reservation Reservation drop-down menu allows you to make a booking request that will be subject to the owner's agreement. The owner has the possibility to accept or refuse your reservation request or to ask you questions about the use of his space. When an owner responds to your request, we will send you an e-mail to inform you. If it does not respond within 24 hours, your request expires, you can restart or contact our services and we will do our best to find you another space.
Reservation drop-down menu indicates Instant booking
When the menu says Immediate Booking, this means that the owner will immediately accept your reservation and close their calendar to other incoming requests over the same period. We send you a receipt by email with the details of your booking, the owner can also contact you.
Button Contact the owner
This button allows you to contact the owner and start a conversation about his space and style of delivery through our secure messaging system. You can use our messaging system to discuss booking details, request special prices, or ask questions about specific equipment.
Payment and confirmation
Whether the Reservation drop-down menu indicates Reservation Request or Instant Booking, we will ask you for the details of your payment so that we can keep your booking.
This payment will be made via our partner PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be offered to create an account or use your credit card.
If the drop-down menu says Reservation Request, the owner has 24 hours to respond. We do not charge your payment until the owner has accepted your booking request. Once the owner has accepted it, we process your payment and send you a congratulatory e-mail that includes your receipt, the details of your booking and our best wishes for a good use of the reserved space. If you do not respond within 24 hours to any questions from the owner, your request expires automatically.
If you use the Instant Book button, your booking will be immediately confirmed and we will process your payment immediately.
